## What Funexchange actually is
Fun Exchange — also written as Funexchange — is a sports betting exchange and live casino, built for Indian players. We went live in April 2026. Today, around 86,400 accounts use the platform, we have paid out a little over ₹141 crore in winnings since day one, and a 10-person team in Pune and Hyderabad runs WhatsApp support round the clock.
Here is the short version of what makes us different.
A regular bookmaker bakes a 5 to 10 percent margin into every odd. You are betting against the house, and the house has math on its side. Funexchange is an exchange. How the exchange model actually works
When you click an odd on Funexchange, you are not betting against the company. You are matched against another player who wants the opposite outcome. Same way a stock exchange matches a buyer with a seller. The platform’s job is to match the trade and settle the bet.
Three things change because of this.
You get sharper prices. With no house margin built in, the odds are typically 2 to 3 percent tighter than a bookmaker. A market a book quotes at 1.85 / 1.85 usually shows up here at 1.98 / 1.98.
You can lay bets, not just back. A bookmaker only lets you back a team to win. On an exchange you can also bet that a team will lose. This makes hedging possible. You can lock in profit at the innings break, or trade out of a Champions League position before extra time.
Commission only on winnings. 2% on net winnings, per market. Losing bets cost zero commission. The platform makes money only when you make money.
