The Funexchange app, coming Q3 2026
The Funexchange mobile app is in private beta with a group of 180 testers across Pune, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Bengaluru and Delhi NCR. Public launch is on Android first in Q3 2026, with iOS roughly four weeks later.
The app is not a packaged browser. It’s built native (Kotlin on Android, Swift on iOS), for two reasons. First, it loads in under one second on a 4G connection in Tier-2 cities. The web version takes 2 to 3 seconds, depending on signal. Second, it can keep a persistent WebSocket open for in-play odds, which means live cricket markets update with zero lag, instead of the 200 to 500 millisecond delay you get on the browser.
What’s in the app
Everything on the website is in the app, plus a few features that only work on mobile.
Push notifications for in-play markets. Subscribe to a team or a player in cricket or to a live casino table. Get a notification 60 seconds before a market you care about opens. For example: a ping one minute before the powerplay-runs market on India vs Australia goes live.
Quick-stake panel. Pre-set three of your favourite stake amounts. One tap to bet at any of them. Removes 3 to 4 seconds of friction per placement, which adds up when you’re trading live.
Live score widget. Pin a match to your phone home screen. Score updates every ball.
Biometric login. Face ID or fingerprint instead of typing a password every time you open the app.
Lower data usage. Live tables run at an adaptive bitrate that drops to 480p in poor signal. The web version doesn’t auto-adapt.
Devices we support
Android. Versions 8 and above. Tested on Samsung A-series, Redmi Note series, OnePlus Nord, Realme C-series, Vivo Y-series, Pixel 6 and newer.
iOS. Versions 14 and above. iPhone 8 and newer.
Need at least 1 GB free storage and a 4G connection. 3G works for sports markets but not for live casino streams.
How to get on the beta
WhatsApp the team and ask to join the beta tester group. We add 50 testers per month between now and launch. Beta testers get:

The Funexchange website is fully mobile-optimised. On a typical Android phone in Pune with a Jio 4G connection, the home page loads in 0.6 seconds and the cricket page in 0.9 seconds. Live casino tables stream in 720p by default, with a manual switcher to 480p if you’re on a metered plan or weak signal.

When exactly is the app launching?
Public launch on Android is scheduled for Q3 2026 (July to September). iOS follows roughly four weeks after. The specific date will be announced 30 days in advance to our WhatsApp list.
Will the app be on Google Play Store?
Google Play doesn’t allow real-money gambling apps in India. The Funexchange app will be distributed by direct APK download from funexchange.com/app, signed and verified. iOS will follow Apple’s TestFlight model at launch.
Is the app free?
Yes. No download fee, no subscription.
Will my web account work in the app?
Yes. Log in with the same WhatsApp-linked ID. Wallet, bet history, bonuses, everything syncs.
Do I get a bonus for using the app?
Beta testers get a one-time ₹1,000 credit after their first 5 active sessions. Post-launch we may run app-specific promotions, those will be announced separately.
Is the app safe? Will my phone get a virus?
The APK is signed and verified. Our download endpoint runs on TLS 1.3. Only download from funexchange.com/app, never from third-party sources or anyone forwarding the file in a WhatsApp group.
